Rabat is the capital city of Morocco and the country’s seventh largest city with an urban population of approximately 580,000 (2014), and a metropolitan population of over 1.2 million.

Venue / Travel

The conference will be held in “ONOMO Hotel Rabat Terminus” located at Rabat city center, Morocco during 3-5 October, 2019.

The conference venue is easily accessible by tram. It is exactly at the terminus of the tram line (Station : Gare de Rabat Ville).

Rabat can be reached by its main airport Rabat–Salé (RBA) or Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN).

I – How to get to the Hotel from Rabat–Salé airport (RBA)

By Taxi:

There are big taxis (white color) at the exit of the Rabat–Salé airport that can take you to the hotel.

Cost: About 20 €

By Bus:

There is also a bus that connects Rabat Airport to the city center.

NB: The bus is not frequent and is synchronized mainly with the flights of the following companies: “Air France” and “Royal Air Maroc”.

II –How to get to the hotel from Casablanca airport (CMN)

By Train:

You can take the train from Casablanca Airport to “Rabat ville” train station, which is located in the city center. The hotel is close to the train station.

Cost : Train (9 to 13 €)

The trip’s duration is around 1 hour 30 min. You can check the schedule on the official website of the national railway at www.oncf.ma. (AEROPORT Med V to Rabat Ville)

NB: The journey from the airport of Casablanca to the city of Rabat is not direct. It is necessary to take a correspondence either in the station of “CASA VOYAGEURS” or the station of “Casa Port”.

By Taxi:

There are big taxis at the exit of the Casablanca airport that can take you to Rabat. Look for the « Grand Taxi » sign in front of the airport exit doors.

The trip takes around 2 hours to get to Rabat.
